Grace Bible Christian Church was born on August 25, 2012. It was named Kachin Myanmar Christian Church (KMCC) when it started. When Kachin Myanmar Christian Church was first established, the Kachin ethnic brothers and sisters who cam from Myanmar and shared the same belief in God met at Mr. Naw Lat Lazing’s home in Green Tree Apartment and signed an agreement on August 25th 2012, around 10 p.m.
Labang Naw Awng was temporarily in charge of the affairs of the congregation. Kachin Myanmar Christian Church (KMCC) was established for the Kachin tribes who do not understand the Kachin language well and for other Burmese ethnic groups who came from Myanmar and want to worship in the Burmese language, so that they can worship God in the Burmese language.
Kachin Myanmar Christian Church (KMCC) stands to help people who have not heard or know Christ’s message of salvation come to see and accept Christ as their savior, and for believers who have accepted Christ are to delight in His Word, to grow spiritually, and to obey His Word, the Bible.
From worshipping under the name of Kachin Myanmar Christian Church (KMCC), it has been renamed Grace Bible Christian Church (GBCC) on November 17th, 2013. The main purpose of changing the name of the church from Kachin Myanmar Christian Church (KMCC) to Grace Bible Christian Church (GBCC) is to allow people of all race to worship God together.
